New Lace Project

This last weekend I purchased this beautiful lace yarn from Three Bags Full. I’ve been wanting to try the Swallowtail Shawl, the first triangular one for me.

I’m hoping the pattern and charts aren’t too hard, and so far I’ve been able to figure it.

This yarn jumped the queue — I have two other lace, well three other lace yarns waiting their turn, but this one just spoke AUTUMN!

Can you feel the nip in the air at night. It’s coming!

Anyhooo, pattern is from Interweave Knits – Fall 2006 issue. I’m using size 4 (3.5mm) addi needles. JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk in Copper.
