It’s great to be back home. I had a wonderful time with the girls, my sister and our friend Dana. We shopped, we ate, we drank wine (when we could open the dang bottle).

But I’m back to my family and things have changed. Stewart, the youngest, is now taller than Robin, the oldest. The look on his face when we determined this, priceless!
Today I have the first of our concerts that my group, Capilano Flute Choir, will be performing this fall/winter. It is at the Circle Craft Market at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The crafts offered here are not your typical craft fair fare. Very talented artisans exhibit and the quality of their work is amazing. I’ll be checking out Indigo Moon Yarns before we have to meet this afternoon.

So back to routines and family chores. They always seem a little less boring and mundane after a little holiday.

isn’t it great how coming home and doing everyday things isn’t as bad as before you left? good luck with your fluting. (is that a word?) in any case, i hope it goes well.and tell your kids to stop growing. 😉
