time for a break

Taking some time this weekend to set the work aside, bake some pies, celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my in-laws, work on my new mystery socks for Socktoberfest, continue going in happy circles with my crocheted mandala, and best of all, have the girls home for the next couple of weekends to hang out with.   I really love this time of year.

The rush of the new year, which really is how September is viewed by me and so many, is over.  We’re all settled into our new schedules and routines.  October is like a deep breath and a relaxing break before the rush into the holidays begins.
