a crafty week

Well, this was a pretty productive week, craft-wise.  Exercise-wise, eh, not as much.  I really need to get back to the program and stop with the chocolate and start with the spinach and fruit.

Anyway, I managed to get the loom out, warped up, woven and finished in a matter of three days.  I finished a simple garter-stitch shawlette out of yarn I hand dyed and hand spun.  It’s really soft and squishy.  And then I made another granny-square cowl, this time out of Berocco Vintage, out of very vintage colours that were calling my name as soon as I walked into my LYS.

I managed to get to another yarn shop yesterday and bought a skein for the through-the-loops mystery sock, and some lovely yarn for another weaving project which I hope to get started on today.

I really need to do an an accountability assessment on some ongoing projects.  The ripple blanket, the linen-stitch blanket and my cabled sweater.  Time to call those blankets finished or close to finishing, and get back to the sleeves on my sweater.  So close, and yet so far away….

And that’s the latest.  I guess it’s time to get on the treadmill….bleah…

  1. Bleah indeed especially when all these cold days do is make a person want to craft, then craft some more!

I’m in awe that you finished three projects in a week! All beautiful!
