… for nice people. That is the tagline for Room6, a sweet little shop in the Cove. I met Megan about 10 years ago when she opened her shop. I wandered in and was mesmerized by her unique shop, her bubbly personality and I’ve been wandering in ever since (feeding my obsession with orla kiely purses 🙄 ) and we’re so excited to be debuting our yarn and kits at her shop!!
We’ve finalized our plans for Saturday… Melissa and I will be there from 11 to 3 to meet and greet, pet yarn, wind yarn, have a good time! And there will be tea and treats from Sunnyside, the shop Megan also owns across the street, on the sunny side. 🙂
We’ll be bringing kits, handspun yarn and lace. The kits will be the Ripple Wave Fingerless Mitts in variegated and tonal fingering weight yarn, Deep Cove Cowl kits in kettle-dyed worsted weight, and Eyelet Ridge Shawlette kits in Melissa’s gorgeous handyed variegated fingering weight yarn. All three of these are 100% superwash merino wool, which makes it extra soft for wearing and extra easy to care for. I’m also throwing in some of our merino wool lace weight yarn because it’s too pretty to be left at home.
If you’re in the area, I hope you can come and visit… it’s going to be a fun day! In the meantime, I’m up to my eyeballs with getting things packaged, tagged and polished up for its Canadian debut. ❤
